Subject: Submission of documents for specified items of work through e-mail- a measure to minimize human contact – reg.

Attention of all Importers/Exporters, Custom Brokers, CFSs, Custodians, General Trade, Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) and all other stakeholders is invited to above subject.
2. In view of the present COVID situation, to minimize human contact, it has been decided that requests relating to the following items of work will be made through e-mail to the concerned Appraising Group/Section alongwith a copy to the Additional/Joint Commissioner of the concerned Appraising Group, who will be the Nodal Officer :

(i) Bill of Lading Amendment in respect of Prior to Final Regularization;
(ii) Re-call of Bill of Entry;
(iii) Change of SSOID of Officials in case of BE’s at RMSFC;
(iv) Request for Amendment Approval (all supporting documents justifying amendment request should be attached);
(v) Section-48 related issues;
(vi) Regularization of Bill Entry from Prior to
3. The concerned officers will attend to all such requests when received through e-mail only and will communicate with the applicant through e-mail, if necessary. For speedy redressal, e-mail requests shall be made to the concerned Group only and should not be marked to all
4. The Nodal Officer will monitor processing and disposal of requests received through e- mail and may be contacted in case of any difficulty. In case of regularization of Bill of Entry from Prior to Final, Joint Commissioner (EDI) will be the Nodal
5. The e-mail address of the Appraising Groups/Sections and the Nodal Officers are given in the Annexure to this Public
6. Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice will be considered as Standing Order for the concerned Officers and Staff of JNCH, Mumbai Customs, Zone-II.
7. In case of any difficulty, the specific issue may be brought to the notice of Shri Rajiv Ranjan, Additional Commissioner, Appraising Main (Import), NS-I, JNCH (e-mail id rrp@gov.in).
