MEMORANDUM

With reference to this Directorate Memorandum F. No. HRD/CM/127/05/2020-21/646 dated 28.04.2021 uploaded on department’s website www.incometaxindia.gov.in in which candidates selected for the post of Stenographer Grade-II in Central Board of Direct Taxes_on the basis of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2018, were directed to indicate/exercise his/her preferences, in order of priority for allotment of regions under CBDT for 18 regions under Income Tax Department all over the country, in the enclosed format.

2. In perusal of above, preference forms have been received from candidates through SpeedPost/ Registered Post/Courier and further through individual e-mail colfununications. However, The Preference forms in respect of candidates enclosed as Annexure-A below have not been received/ found incomplete till date.

3. Therefore, the candidates as mentioned in Annexure-A are hereby given a final opportunity to submit the PREFERENCE FORM (enclosed) duly filled/complete in all respects, URGENTLY through e-mail on the e-mail id ddit.cmd2.hrd@incometax.gov.in latest or positively by 04.06.2021 .

4. Candidate as above are cautioned that if, for any reasons, he/she fails or does not indicate his/her preferences through email in said FORMAT for whatever reasons by 04.06.2021 the REGION/STATE will be allotted to him/ her, on the basis of merit-cum-preference, by this Directorate and NO REQUEST for change of allotted region will be entertained at any stage of recruitment. This is the last and final opportunity for the candidates mentioned in Annexure-A.
